In 1984, at just 17 years old in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Orlando Rodriguez founded his first manufacturing venture: ODR Manufacturing Corp. Driven by a clear vision, he began developing proprietary formulas for lacquer thinners, primers, and automotive paints. Thanks to uncompromised product quality, the company quickly surged to become one of the top two manufacturing firms on the island during that era. He further solidified his industry presence by establishing Professional Chemical Corp.

2000–2005: The Birth of a Global Icon

In December 2000, Orlando founded C&J Car Care Products Manufacturing Inc. Under this new banner, he created and formulated the legendary Angel Guard brand. The line's flagship product achieved the number-one spot in the market for tire gloss, propelling the brand onto the global stage. Orlando’s extraordinary talent for formulating high-performance products earned him a highly respected nickname across the industry: "The Crazy Chemical" (El Químico Loco).

2006–2022: National Expansion & Commercial Success

Seeking new horizons, Orlando relocated to Florida, USA, in 2006. By 2014, he designed and launched a powerful new product line under the brand name Street Legal. With this venture, he made history by establishing the first Latino-owned company in the United States to secure nationwide distribution with retail giant Advance Auto Parts, extending its reach across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Street Legal products consistently held top market positions, celebrated for their superior quality and unique, disruptive formulations that challenged traditional market standards.

2023–Present: The Era of Crazy Chemical & Continuous Innovation

Honoring his legendary roots and lifelong nickname, Orlando consolidated the brand officially as Crazy Chemical in 2023, once again revolutionizing the automotive detailing landscape with winning, exclusive formulas. Among his latest breakthrough creations is Black Diamond Tire Shine—a premium tire gloss that instantly became a customer favorite, widely dubbed by consumers as "La Bestia Negra" (The Black Beast) for its unmatched, deep shine.
